With over 25 years of experience in education, he is an accomplished mathematics teacher, ed-tech specialist, and instructional leader dedicated to advancing learning through technology. He holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Benin (2014) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education from Ambrose Alli University (2008). He is a certified and licensed teacher with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), with a strong commitment to professional standards and continuous development.
He is the founder, lead Mathematics and Further Mathematics instructor, and website developer and ed-tech solution architect of waokmath.com, where he:
- 💻 Designs and deploys digital learning systems – creating interactive platforms that support both classroom and remote learning
- 📚 Develops structured mathematics content – curriculum-aligned lesson plans, exercises, and instructional materials
- ⚡ Integrates technology-driven instructional strategies – leveraging digital tools to enhance student engagement, understanding, and outcomes
His technology-driven tools and learning platforms are currently being used in various schools across Nigeria, supporting both classroom instruction and remote learning.
Driven by a passion for educational innovation, he became the only African member of the Edulastic Innovator Program from 2019 to 2022, positioning him at the forefront of formative assessment and data-driven instruction. During this period, Edulastic merged with GoGuardian, and later evolved into Pear Deck Assessment (Fremont, California). In the course of his work, he collaborated with international educators, including Elizabeth Budd-Brown of Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys, contributing to cross-cultural exchange of best practices in digital instruction and assessment. He is also a Certified Management Professional (MNIM, Chartered), demonstrating strong capacity in educational leadership, team coordination, and institutional development.
At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a key role as a facilitator at the Teachers Connect Conference organized by Ravenbrooks International and sponsored by the T. Y. Danjuma Foundation. He trained teachers across Edo State—both public and private—on “The Use of Technology in Classrooms”, equipping them with practical digital teaching skills and remote learning strategies during the pandemic.
He began his career as a middle school mathematics teacher at Nathan American Academy, where he rose to become the pioneer Dean of Faculty (Middle School), leading academic planning, teacher mentoring, and instructional quality assurance. He also taught briefly at The Cradle Schools.
In 2026, he achieved 2nd position (Edo/Delta States) and 1st position in Edo State in the Seplat STEP Program, where he presented his Digital Learning & Technology Hub project—an initiative focused on delivering scalable ed-tech solutions for schools. This recognition came with a ₦2 million cash award.
He currently serves as an Educational Consultant, an SS3 Mathematics teacher in the public school system, and an ed-tech coach. His core competencies include:
